RACE: ARE WE SO DIFFERENT? WILL HELP VISITORS EXPLORE THE REALITY – AND UNREALITY – OF RACE

Exhibit opens on January 28, 2012 at COSI

(Columbus, Ohio) – COSI is pleased to announce it will bring the RACE: Are We So Different? exhibit to COSI on January 28, 2012.  The exhibit is a project of the American Anthropological Association in collaboration with the Science Museum of Minnesota, and encourages visitors to explore the science, history and everyday impact of race.

The Columbus Historical Society Moves in at COSI

New location will expand visibility, capacity to serve constituents

(Columbus) – The Columbus Historical Society and COSI are pleased to announce the society’s new location in COSI’s building.  The CHS has moved in, construction has started and the new gallery will open in February.  The move to COSI comes in conjunction with the 200th birthday of Columbus.

Ms. Abrass’ Fourth and Fifth Grade Students Unveil New Picnic Park at COSI

Students and COSI Worked Together On New Outdoor Space

8.30.2011 (Columbus) – COSI has a new picnic park thanks to the hard work of some nearby elementary school students. In 2011, the then fourth and fifth grade students from Avondale Elementary worked with COSI to design the outdoor space adjacent to the rain garden. Farm Days Come to COSI!

Learn What It Takes to Be a Farmer Out on COSI’s English Plaza

(Columbus) – COSI brings the farm to the city for the seventh year in a row, as Farm Days: Little Seeds, Big Tractors opens Wednesday, August 17th through Sunday, August 21st. During this event, more than 20 pieces of huge farming equipment will be arranged downtown on COSI’s English Plaza and Washington Blvd.
