General Details on this Teaming Opportunity 

The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, intends to acquire by contract the decommissioning of .97 miles of Forest Road 4600035 and the closure/stabilization of .25 miles of Forest Road 4800035. Work includes but is not limited to scarification of the roadway surface, installation of cross ditches, removal of culverts, creation of road closure berms, and seeding and mulching of affected project areas. The projects are located on the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District (CVRD) of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and can be accessed as follows: -LAVA CREEK ROAD 4600035 DECOMMISSIONING. The project area is located approximately 20 road miles northeast of Randle, Washington. The legal description of the project area is Township 14 North, Range 10 East, Sections 28 and 29, Lewis County, Willamette Meridian, unsurveyed. The project site extends from the junction of FR 4600 and 4600035 to the end of 4600035, approximately 0.97 miles. To access the project site from the CVRD office, travel east on US Highway 12 for 20 miles to the 460000 road, then travel 2.5 miles south on the 460000 road to the 4600035 road. -HAGER CREEK ROAD 4800035 CLOSE/STABILIZE. The project area is located approximately 17 road miles east of Randle, Washington. The legal description of the project area is Township 13 North, Range 9 East, Section 27, Lewis County, Willamette Meridian, unsurveyed. The project site extends from the junction of Forest Road 4800 and 4800035 to the end of 4800035, approximately 0.25 miles. To access the project site from the CVRD office, travel east on US HIGHWAY 12 for 12 miles to the 4800 RD, then travel 2.5 miles south on the 4800 road to the 4800035 road.
