Overton Brooks VA Medical Center located at 510 East Stoner Avenue, Shreveport LA 71101, intends to issue a Request for Proposal for project "Design Build Install New 175 HP Summer Boiler and Associated Equipment." There will be a pre-bid site investigation held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site investigation will be located in the solicitation package. The scope of work for this project includes but not limited to design-build services necessary for the removal of existing 450 HP steam water tube boiler (boiler #3) and the complete design and installation of a new 175 HP, 90 lb steam fire tube boiler to include but not limited to trim (accessories), dual fuel low NOx (natural gas and No. 2 oil) burner, fuel valve, fuel and piping trains, breeching, flue gas economizer, heat recovery, SCADA and controls (control package shall match existing manufacture and be U-Pack or equal), draft control (for existing boilers #1 and 2), and other accessories as required complete and ready to use.
