Second Public Beta Opens for ACDSee Pro 3 Software

Before it gets introduced later this fall, the next version of ACDSee Pro photo management software that is known for speed, flexibility and streamlining workflow will enter a second beta phase.

VICTORIA, British Columbia - ACD Systems International Inc. is calling on advanced amateur and professional photographers to participate in a second beta test of its new ACDSee™ Pro 3 digital imaging software before it launches later this year.

Between Aug. 11 and Oct. 30, 2009, photographers can test the second beta release of the Pro 3 program that retains the same fast and flexible features they rely upon and incorporates an enhanced user experience that delivers a professional level of support at a tremendous value.

Beta downloads are available at www.acdseepro.com. More than 10,000 photographers worldwide contributed feedback during the first beta process earlier this year and provided valuable comments to ACD developers as they ready the launch of the next generation of the user-friendly photo management software.

ACDSee Pro 3 emphasizes four areas of activity - manage, view, process and online - that optimize photography workflow from start to finish in one application. Building on its reputation as a leading viewer, browser and organizer, Pro 3 brings new advanced speed capabilities into the editing and online stages as well.

Introduced in early 2006, ACDSee Pro has historically focused on mode-based workflow, so this new update will be familiar to current ACDSee Pro users.

When it is introduced later this year, ACDSee Pro 3 will be available for a free 30-day trial and for purchase at $169.99 (USD) by visiting www.acdsee.com. Registered owners of ACDSee Pro, Pro 2 and Pro 2.5 will be eligible to upgrade for $90.00 (USD).
