01.12.2010 – LOS ANGELES, CA – With its cake-inspired flavor profiles including Carrot Cake, Black Forest and Passion Fruit, Amella Caramels is bringing its all-natural caramels and new, award-winning packaging and pricing to the Winter Fancy Food Show (Booth #1654), Jan. 17-19, 2010 in San Francisco.
In addition to exhibiting at the Fancy Food Show, Amella Caramels will showcase its caramels to the food press at the Food Fête media event on Jan. 18.
Amella debuted its category-defining caramels last summer at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York to industry and media accolades, and next week will introduce new packaging along with new pricing and product enhancements designed to enhance the overall consumer experience.
The secret to Amella’s caramels, according to company co-founder Emir Kiamilev, is pure cocoa butter, an ingredient not found in most artisanal caramels, but one that brings out the best of Amella’s other fresh ingredients including real fruits, vegetables, nuts and spices.
“Amella Caramels are all about indulgence,” Kiamilev said. “From the first bite, our buttery caramels generate a positive reaction from consumers, retailers and wholesalers alike, with many comments about our caramels' unique texture.”
To complement their unique flavors, Amella Caramels are enrobed in white chocolate (Carrot Cake), milk chocolate (Passion Fruit) and dark chocolate (Black Forest).
Amella Caramels are all-natural, preservative-free, and kosher, with 0% trans fats. The Carrot Cake flavor is loaded with fresh carrots and roasted pecans. The highest-grade passion fruit meets Tahitian vanilla in the Passion Fruit Amella, and the Black Forest Amella caramel features anti-oxidant Amarelle tart cherries and dark chocolate.
