AUSTIN, TX -- Ant’s Eye View, a Seattle-based social media strategy development and consulting firm today announced it is expanding its rapidly growing Training and Readiness service, specifically the firm’s playbook practice in Austin, Texas. The practice will be led by Ant’s Eye View vice president and popular author, Ben McConnell.

“Our strategic consulting with clients identified a common need for companies to provide tools and guidance so they can increase social media engagement across the company,” said Sean McDonald, senior vice president and managing director of the Ant’s Eye View Austin office. “To meet increasing client demands, we’ve formed a team dedicated to training and readiness, and specifically playbooks housed in Austin.”

As part of the playbook practice, Ant’s Eye View develops custom visual guides with policy, best practices, case studies and worksheets to enable enterprises to scale their social engagement activities. Clients have included a variety of Fortune 500 technology, consumer packaged goods, telecommunications and retail companies.

Joining the playbook practice team as senior consultant is social business strategist and noted author, David Neff. For the past 10 years, Neff has helped nonprofits make sense of social engagement planning and execution. Most notably, Neff launched the American Cancer Society’s first user generated website for those affected by cancer and built the nonprofit’s online giving, social media and film departments. His book, "The Future of Nonprofits," was published by Wiley in 2011.
