AzFL Arizona Football League Accepting 2011 Teams

Statewide 11 Man Club Tackle Football

The Arizona Football League AzFL is accepting team applications for the 2011 season says Kevin Pakos. Potential team owners can contact the AzFL now about joining for the 2011 season which will be played from January through May 2011.

You can call the AzFL at 623-939-4877 or Email them at info@azfl.com plus visit their website at: http://www.azfl.com to see the teams playing in the 2010 season.

According to Kevin Pakos the league is making plans for the next year and both current and possible new team owners need to get on board soon. With teams in cities all over the state, planning early is a must.

The Arizona Football League is an amateur, club organization and each team is independently owned. Games are 11 man tackle football and are played in multiple areas around the state during the season.

The AzFL is featured weekly on ASPN Radio or Arizona Sports Network Radio on KXXT 1010 AM in the Phoenix area and streams worldwide online at http://www.aspnradio.com Tune in each week to hear from players and owners both during the season and year around. ASPN Radio is Sports Talk and all the news from high school, college and pro is covered.

The Arizona Football League AzFL in 2010 has seventeen teams from around the state of Arizona playing Club Amateur 11 man tackle football from January thru May. The AzFL has been playing since 1995 and many players have restarted their college football careers plus some have even gone on to play pro football.

The Arena Football League AFL team the Arizona Rattlers had former AzFL players Siaha Burley and Chad DeGrenier on their roster. The NFL Cardinals Deuce Lutui played a year in the Arizona Football League. Links for them are on this page.

Teams in the Arizona Football League AzFL are: Bisbee/Douglas Ironmen, Sierra Vista Cavaliers, Tucson Soul Patrol, Tucson Demons, Casa Grande Wolfpack, Buckeye Warriors, Yavapai (Prescott Valley) Bandits, Flagstaff Hitmen, Warlords of the East Valley (Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert), Tempe Predators, Paradise Valley Crusaders, Cave Creek Dragons, Central Phoenix Spartans, Phoenix Raiders, West Valley (Surprise/El Mirage), Southwest (Avondale/Goodyear) Stampede, Westside Monsoon.
