ANAHEIM HILLS, CA – Chance Theater made its Holiday list and checked it twice, so now we’ll find out what’s naughty and nice when the Chance presents a pair of productions that are perfect for the holidays beginning November 18 and running through December 27, 2011.

Up first is Anne of Green Gables (November 19 – December 27), a delightful musical adaptation of the classic novel about Anne Shirley, a red-haired, wide eyed orphan girl who’s penchant for getting into trouble changes her life and the lives of all those around her. Returning for its 8th annual production is The Eight: Reindeer Monologues (November 29 – December 23), an outrageous adult look at life as one of Santa's reindeer after a controversy breaks out at the North Pole.

"Anne of Green Gables is part of our Holiday Literature series, and is a wonderful adaptation of the classic children’s book,” explains Chance Theater managing director Casey Long, who also serves as director for the production.

"We’re also very happy to bring back the audience favorite, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, for its 8th annual production," adds Long, who performs in the play each year. "The show has taken on Rocky Horror proportions in our space. We have audience members showing up wearing antlers or elf ears. The audience is very involved in the performance, and it’s just a total blast. Plus this year's production features a roster of rotating performers, so you'll never see the same show twice!"

The Eight: Reindeer Monologues
by Jeff Goode
Directed by Oanh Nguyen

“It may not be politically correct, but that doesn't mean it isn't screamingly funny."
- Orange County Register

“The funniest (and filthiest) Christmas show in town. This is the naughtiest fun you’ll have all holiday season.”Stage Scene LA

A Chance Un-Holiday Tradition - Back for its 8th year. Why? Because our favorite team of reindeer still have plenty to say! Accusations, rumors and all-out attacks are flying fast and furious around Santa’s toyshop this holiday season. Go behind the tinsel and hear the truth about Santa straight from the eight reindeer who know him best. When a doe says “No”, she means “No Way, Sucka!”

This year's production will incorporate a roster of rotating performers so that you'll never see the same show twice!
