AWeber, an email marketing service provider serving over 110,000 businesses, entrepreneurs and bloggers, today announced enhanced features for its WordPress Web Form Widget that will facilitate a streamlined, one-step reader engagement process.
Through this plugin, blog readers will have the ability to easily subscribe to an email list when leaving a comment – without having to fill out a separate web form. The plugin also includes a WordPress dashboard pane, providing data on how many readers have subscribed through the plugin.
Originally launched in November 2010, AWeber's WordPress Web Form Widget has become one of the most popular applications utilizing AWeber's API. With the widget, customers have the ability to drag and drop AWeber web forms within the WordPress account.
“The positive feedback we received from customers in response to the Web Form Widget was overwhelming,” said Tom Kulzer, CEO and founder of AWeber. “By enabling this new feature, AWeber customers will have the ability to better connect with their most-engaged commenters.”
The WordPress Web Form Plugin allows AWeber customers to easily set up the new subscription process. Once the application is updated or installed within WordPress, customers can check a box and select the list to which subscribers will be added. After enabling this feature, readers will have the option of clicking a subscription checkbox when leaving a comment.
For detailed instructions on enabling the new plugin, readers can consult AWeber's blog post, knowledge base or contact AWeber's live support, available 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.
