SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Axosoft, a leading provider of project management, scrum and bug tracking software for software development teams, announced today the results of a customer survey indicating that customers save approximately 24 percent of their project schedule by using OnTime, the company’s flagship project management software.
Through the survey sent to Axosoft’s OnTime customers, Axosoft identified that teams using OnTime have collectively saved more than $1.9 billion dollars. That number continues to grow at a rate of $24 per second and can be tracked on Axosoft’s website through a Savings Calculator. Individual teams can also use the Savings Calculator to determine how much they would save in their own organization.
“Every one percent of productivity gained or lost is the equivalent of about $800 per year for the typical U.S. software engineer,” said Axosoft CEO Hamid Shojaee. “When you think about the things that make software development teams more efficient: good release planning, communication, project visibility and the knowledge of knowing your assignments, it’s no wonder that our customers are able to credit OnTime with shrinking their project schedules by an average of 24 percent.”
Since the development of OnTime, Axosoft has released nine major versions of the software. OnTime is currently used by more than 100,000 software developers (in ISV, consulting and IT organizations) in more than 7,000 teams in large and small companies in 55 countries across the world. Organizations like Verifone, EA Sports, Disney, the United States Army, Lego, Cox and Intel rely on OnTime to keep their development teams on track.
