Music Video Site Highlights Countries' Urban Artists Through Editor's Picks

Blastro.com, the web’s leading independent urban music video site, launched a new feature, “International Spotlight,” that highlights editor’s picks from a country’s artist roster of music videos. The feature lives in a flash box on the Blastro.com homepage and will rotate monthly.

Canada is the inaugural country for this new feature for three key reasons. One, Canada has a strong roster of talented artists in the urban music scene who are creating very original music and producing high quality music videos. Two, the most talked about music video of the year, “Best I’ve Ever Had,” is from Toronto native, Drake. Lastly, Blastro’s largest international audience is Canadian.

This month’s spotlight features Drake; the glamorous and sophisticated R&B singer Tamia; the bi-lingual hip hop act Puzzles Crew; hip hop traditionalist DL Incognito; hip hop-soul-reggae fusionist crew Tru-Paz; longstanding producer/rapper Classified; the sweet soulful vocals of Wade O. Brown; and dancehall sounds of Carl Henry.
