Blastro.com Launches NYC Production with Wonder Girls

K-Pop Group Meets Fans & Dishes about Experiences in America

The Wonder Girls have had quite a year in America, and Blastro.com, the web’s leading independent urban music video site, got the chance to catch up with Yubin, Yenny, Mimi and Sohee at their recent fan meet and greet in New Jersey. Marking the launch of Blastro’s original productions in the New York City metro area, the Wonder Girls talk about all things American from touring with the Jonas Brothers and calling elders by their first names to their childhood music idols like Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls and N’Sync.

“Blastro.com is supportive of K-pop’s ambition to build its audience in America,” said Rob Campanell, Blastro’s director of content programming. “Coverage of a fan meet and greet is a great way to introduce our music video audience to its big stars such as the Wonder Girls. The audience can see their authenticity and the passion they’ve built with their fans.”

Held at a Justice store in a shopping mall, the Wonder Girls were promoting the new Jason Nevins remix of “Nobody,” which will be sold exclusively at Justice stores in the U.S.
