Thompson-Stillinger was recently honored with the 2011 Excellence in Human Resource Management Award at the Oklahoma State Human Resource Council’s Annual Conference (OKHR) for her accomplishments and dedication to the HR craft May 4-6th in Norman, Oklahoma.
Thompson-Stillinger has over twenty-three years of experience in the HR and staffing industries working most recently for HLP Solutions Executive Search Firm based out of Dallas, TX. Thompson-Stillinger serves as the Vice President since 2006 and manages HLP’s Oklahoma City office.
Candidate pipelines are the key in the recruiting and staffing industries,” says Stephanie Haxel, who works with Thompson-Stillinger. “Melanie works close with her staff to help match each candidate with the best advice or referral. She’s an inspiration.”
Thompson-Stillinger’s inspiration touches professionals across the southwest region. She is very involved in mentorship and community programs as a board member for both the Oklahoma City Human Resource Society and the Oklahoma City Metro Employment Council. She also serves as a volunteer mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
