OKHR Blog Squad Members Announced

Oklahoma HR Conference Welcomes Press & Bloggers

One in two Americans read at least one blog a day. Industry and expert blogs provide business professionals real-time information from leading voices and practioners. The field of human resources is no exception.

The Oklahoma State HR Conference is proud to announce their 2011 OKHR Blog Squad members: Kay Stout, Lisa McConnell, Cathleen Carlos, and Beth Dean. These four inaugural blog squad members will provide real-time updates from keynotes and sessions using social media tools including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and their blogs.

“The OKHR State Council is proud to welcome our conference blog squad members,” says State Director, Laura Moxley, SPHR. “Our bloggers will have access to interview keynote and session speakers giving those attending the conference as well as other HR professions the opportunity to learn more about sessions and OKHR.”

“Members of the Press are also invited to attend the conference. Our Press Room will be available from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM May 4th and 5th as well as from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on May 6th,” says OKHR PR and Social Media Director, Jessica Miller-Merrell, SPHR.

Blog Squad members have a variety of business, human resources, university, and professional backgrounds. This group is representative of the fast experiences and involvement HR has in business.
