BOLOCO BRINGS ON NEW VP OF PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

Boston, MA – Boloco is excited to announce that Christine San Juan will join its team as the vice president of people development. Christine cultivated her human resources skills throughout 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, and Boloco is looking forward to the guidance (and undoubtedly, fun teambuilding activities) she will bring to Boloco’s 286 employees.

Christine comes to the chain of globally inspired burrito restaurants from Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant, where she held the title of vice president of training and ops support. At Bertucci’s she was responsible for training and development for the 94-unit chain, and held titles including senior director of training and ops support, director of ops support and services, and training director. Prior to those positions, she worked for Chili’s and On the Border as a new restaurant opening trainer and restaurant manager.

Christine earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from Rhode Island College and is certified in Situational Leadership Instruction, as a DiSC Instructor, and as a Serve-Safe Alcohol Instructor. She is also a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and its local chapters, including Central Massachusetts and Bay State Colonies and the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers, CHART.

Christine resides in Cumberland RI with her family, and enjoys cooking, reading, going to the beach (even in the winter!) with my family. Fittingly, she also enjoys eating burritos!
