Why a website, host Dager was asked; “We can communicate on other platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook but to learn how to efficiently utilize these platforms is a mystery to many. We realized that there is a expertise out in Fort Wayne that can be utilized. As a result, we created an open source platform, so that we could participate in the conversations and add information when necessary but so could everyone else. It will be an independent site and one that organizations and people can use as a resource.”
Dager also added, "I included a Brown Bag Online Lunch on Monday at noon. The first webinar will be on Social Media in general but afterward, we will be focusing on a certain topic of interest. We will cover topics such as creating an event on Facebook, Social Media etiquette of each platform, how to monetize your blog and more. I see people go to workshops but my opinion is if you want to be online, I encourage you to learn online!"
