This year in addition to the regular festivities, Method Art will welcome special guests Camp Soaring Eagle into their gallery. Method Art has partnered with Camp Soaring Eagle, a not for profit organization dedicated to helping children suffering with serious illnesses. Stop into the Gallery and take a look at the John Waddell Bronze bas-relief sculpture Earth and Space, that is being sold to help send seriously ill children to camp. While you are there you will have the opportunity to meet some of the children who have participated in these magical programs and learn why laughter definitely is the best medicine.
The John Wadell sculpture that is for sale at Method Art was donated to the Camp Soaring Eagle Foundation. The sculpture depicts five female figures one-fourth life size in height. The center figure holds a babe in arms. The figures are depicted as rising in space. John Waddell, who is best known for his sculptures of female nudes grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. He relocated to Arizona in 1957 and has been residing in the Sedona area of Arizona since 1970. The artist’s studio is the only retail gallery outlet for his works. More information about John Waddell can be found at his website, www.artbywaddell.com .
