Ride the official, free ACL Festival shuttle, loading at Republic Square Park at 4th and Guadalupe, with direct service to/from the festival at Zilker Park.
“Capital Metro has been a proud partner of the Austin City Limits Music Festival since its inception, and we invite you to relax, enjoy the music, and leave the driving to us.” says Capital Metro President/CEO Linda S. Watson.
The shuttles begin at 10 a.m. each day of the festival, and the last departure from Republic Square to Zilker Park is at 8 p.m. The last shuttle returns to Republic Square about 30 minutes after the final band leaves the stage each night.
Parking is not provided at Zilker Park; however, paid parking is available at several garages and lots throughout downtown Austin.
With a little planning, patrons can skip the hassle and expense of parking altogether and ride Capital Metro to the shuttle boarding site at Republic Square Park. Several routes drop off within a block of Republic Square, and Capital Metro’s Night Owl and E-Bus routes run until about 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
To help reduce the festival’s carbon footprint, for a second year, Capital Metro will offer recycling at Republic Square Park. Additionally, the agency is also providing reusable water bottles and a mobile water station for shuttle staff and volunteers, reducing plastic waste from an estimated 1,000 water bottles that otherwise would have been consumed during the festival. Please do your part to reduce, reuse and recycle inside and outside of the festival.
