Scientology Blog Provides News and Footage from Haiti

A new Church of Scientology blog provides regular updates from volunteers on the ground in Haiti. Located at blog.volunteerministers.org, the site includes personal accounts, photos and video from Port-au-Prince.

Daily, members of the Scientology Disaster Response Team share their experiences of helping at the General Hospital, the University of Miami Hospital, distributing food, water and medical supplies, and providing Scientology assists--spiritual first aid to help people recover from stress and trauma.

The volunteers are working with humanitarian groups, the United Nations and other agencies to see to the establishment and organization of resources and infrastructure to enable the people of Haiti to rebuild their country and their lives.
