New members joining the board are: Tim Codd, founder, CEO and president of Morgan Bradley, LLC, a minority-owned IT management and consulting firm; Mindi Fynke, president and CEO of EHIM, a pharmacy benefit management company; Mack Johnson, owner of the Mack Johnson Automotive Group; and Todd Kephart, vice president and portfolio manager at Retirement Income Solutions.
“The University’s governing board welcomed four new trustees at their January meeting, representing the health care, automotive, investment and benefit management sectors,” said Cleary University President Tom Sullivan. “These entrepreneurs have all been repeatedly recognized among their professional peers and bring added richness to the board. Collectively, and individually, they appreciate and are intrigued by the University’s application-based education and are eager to promote Cleary University.”
In addition to appointing new trustees, the board elected its 2011 officers:
--Chair: John Klee, recently retired vice president of PNC Bank
--Vice-Chair: Carol Alexander ’76, retired from Ford Motor Credit Company following 30 years of service
--Secretary: Douglas J. Ritter ’93, ’01, recently retired brand quality manager for General Motors Corporation
--Treasurer: Milton A. Weidmayer, CPA ’74, partner in Weidmayer Schneider Raham & Bennett, CPA
--Livingston Chair: Mike LaMarra, president of Excelda Manufacturing
--Livingston Vice-Chair: John McBride, former chairman and CEO, Don Blackburn & Company
--Washtenaw Chair: Frank Fike, retired, part-time vice president of Comerica Bank in Ann Arbor
--Washtenaw Vice-Chair: Kevan Lawler, president and CEO of NSF International
--Officer-At-Large: Joe Parker, CEO, C & B Machinery
