SANTA CLARITA, CA – On Saturday, December 31, 2011 Southern California’s most popular mobile restaurants will hit the curb in Santa Clarita’s Central Park for A Ride For Life from 10AM – 4PM. A Ride For Life will give participants the chance to ride alongside world-renown cyclist George Hincapie while supporting local charities. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley.
The event supported by the City of Santa Clarita includes a 30-mile, 60-mile and 100-mile ride as well as a 5K kids bike ride and family walk. Participants can register to ride at http://www.arideforlife.com/. The cost varies for the event depending on the course participants choose to enter. Bring cash to indulge in the wide array of innovative cuisines that the trucks will have to offer as you cross the finish line!
