Colorado Lottery's New Bonus Millionaire Raffle Hits Stores Friday, April 15

New game to feature four bonus drawings and two $1 million top prizes

DENVER - The Colorado Lottery announced today that tickets for its new game, Bonus Millionaire Raffle, will go on sale on Friday, April 15. Bonus Millionaire Raffle is similar to the Lottery's first raffle, Millionaire Raffle, in that it offers limited ticket sales and the best odds for players to win $1 million, but the new game gives players the added excitement of four bonus drawings.

The four bonus drawings to be held between April 15 and June 12 will award 40 winners with $2,000 each, and all tickets entered into the bonus drawing (including winning tickets) will be eligible for the final Millionaire Raffle drawing on July 1.

"We wanted to give our players more opportunities to win without having to wait until the final raffle drawing," said Abel Tapia, director of the Colorado Lottery. "The Bonus Drawings will create excitement throughout the entire life of the game."

Bonus Millionaire Raffle is a typical raffle-type draw game - tickets will contain a unique six-digit number (players cannot select their own numbers). Only 280,000 tickets are available and 613 prizes will be awarded ranging from $500 to $1 million. A Bonus Millionaire Raffle ticket will cost $20 and will be available at all retail locations where jackpot games are sold. The odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 140,000, better than any Colorado Lottery game in history. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 457.

For winning numbers, visit coloradolottery.com or ask any retailer that sells jackpot games for the Winning Numbers Report for Bonus Millionaire Raffle. Players will have 180 days from the date of the Raffle drawing to claim winning prizes. Prizes will be paid in one lump sum.
