Conway, AR- The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce today launched TheChamberLife.com. The site is designed to communicate with residents and visitors of Conway, AR. The site features well-known social media tools such as Twitter, Vimeo and Flickr. The content for the sight is contributed by 10 members of the Conway Area Chamber staff.
Jamie Gates with the Conway Chamber says, "The catalyst for the site was really the need to meet our audience where they were. Conway has a young, smart population. Using social media was the best way for us to talk about the positive things going on here in a credible way. This is a resource that lets someone who is not familiar with Conway learn about it from a very informed, almost native perspective."
Pam McDowell of McDowell Properties is one of the underwriting sponsors for the site. She said her support for the site's construction was threefold. "First, it's the future. Second, we wanted to communicate more efficiently with our clients and prospective clients. Finally, we wanted to support the local community and our Chamber. This is for our neighbors."
