DC Derm Docs Deliver a 1-2 Punch Against Acne
Breakthrough Therapy Treats AND Prevents Zits

(Washington, DC)- The DC Derm Docs now have the most advanced weapon in the battle against acne-a problem experienced by up to 50 million Americans. The breakthrough technology offered by Dr. Dale Isaacson and Dr. Marilyn Berzin (www.dcdermdocs.com) zaps zits with a one-two punch. The system, Isolaz Pro made by Asthera, first attacks the problem with light therapy- and then in a new, additional step, known as Profusion Skin Therapy, applies a topical medication deep into the skin. The treatments are painless, quick and effective.

How it Works
The Isolaz Pro machine cleanses the pores by gently vacuuming the skin while at the same time using therapeutic broadband light to painlessly zap the skin of impurities. Vacuuming the skin allows doctors to stretch and modify the skin. The Profusion Skin Therapy then uses an applicator tip to deliver an acne treatment though the pores into underlying layers of the skin. Profusion Skin Therapy is the only treatment that cleanses the pores, treats skin with light and places acne medication deep into the skin. “For the first time, doctors are able to reach the acne with medicine where it begins, deep under the skin. This gives it more time to work on trouble areas as opposed to over-the-counter topical treatments,” says Dr. Dale Isaacson.

Drs. Isaacson and Berzin say it takes about four-to-five treatments to see results, which are each scheduled about a week or two apart. The treatment not only works against active acne, it also minimizes scarring and prevents new outbreaks.
