CHICAGO – Digitas—the leading global integrated brand agency with digital at its core, announced today the hire of Donna Biernadski to lead Team Sprint. Biernadski will serve as Senior Vice President of Marketing and will report to Doug Ryan, Managing Director, Digitas Chicago.
Biernadski joins Digitas with over 20+ years of agency and in-house marketing experience, with expertise in telecom, retail, B2B and QSR. Prior to Digitas, Biernadski served as Vice President of Marketing at The Morton Arboretum and Senior Vice President, Chief of Integration at Wunderman. She has also previously held positions at Euro RSCG Worldwide, Rapp Collins Worldwide and DDB.

Earlier this month, Sprint Nextel (NYSE: S), a leader in telecommunications and technology, awarded Publicis Groupe’s “Team Sprint”, led by Digitas, as its primary marketing-communications partner for the Sprint brand. The scope includes general advertising, offline media, digital buying and planning, and analytics. Leo Burnett will be a critical member of Team Sprint providing best-in-class creative solutions. The assignment, effective February 1, 2012, will be managed from the Digitas Chicago office. Executive lead for Team Sprint is Tony Weisman, President, Digitas.
