CARRBORO, NC – It is no secret that improvisation training is a valuable tool in the workplace. From CNN, to national business magazines, experts have heralded the importance of “YES AND” principle. This summer, DSI Comedy Theater is offering adults in the Triangle two weeks to complete DSI’s full improv curriculum. Beginning July 12, DSI will offer a one-week intensive of Improv 101 and 201. Then, July 19, DSI offers a one-week intensive of Improv 301 and 401. Classes cost $195 for each week. Each class runs from 10:00am until 4:00pm Monday-Thursday with an hour break for lunch at 12:30pm. The intensive runs until until 1:00pm on Friday. Improv training gives business professionals the keys to communicate and collaborate better in the workplace. Key improvisation techniques give business people the tools to think on their feet, create new ideas effortlessly, actively listen to others, and work productively inside team environments.
