Wilton Manors, (Ft Lauderdale), FL______Ellen Charapko Gallery, Alternative Space, will present selections from the body of work of: Cesar Garcia, Silvio Gayton and Joaquín González. This is a special, one night only presentation which will coincide with the Island City Art Walk on Friday, February 18, 2011, 7 - 10 pm. Location: 2184 Wilton Drive in the new "Gables" complex.
Three blocks north from the Alternative Space in the Gables complex, the Ellen Charapko Gallery (main gallery), will be presenting a solo show for San Francisco artist, Tim Yankosky. "Drastic Measures" will run through April 6th, 2011.

Her concept was to combine local artists with local businesses in a festive, private party atmosphere. The privately funded, Island City Art Walk has been wildly successful, both for artists and businesses and the overall benefit of this function has brought both positive energy and cultural awareness to the community.
During each Island City Art Walk the Ellen Charapko Gallery simultaneously hosts opening receptions, introducing emerging, contemporary artists.
Evening hours are Wednesday through Saturday and by appointment. The gallery is located at 2374 Wilton Drive, in Wilton Manors Art & Entertainment District.
