Novel Approach to VIP Gifting at Festival Raises Money for Cancer Research
Leading mobile commerce enabler Outlier, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) and Everywhere, LLC., a social media company in Atlanta, GA raised $50,000 for cancer research through the “House of SWAGG” VIP gift suite at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Outlier hosted the suite, and each time a celebrity selected a gift, made a cash donation representing a portion of its value to Stand Up To Cancer, a grassroots movement which funds research to get new treatments to patients quickly.
