Spread the Word and Make a Donation via http://bit.ly/soshelpforhaiti

EVERYWHERE is working with BET to encourage online giving through social media. The Social Media Marketing and Content Development company has enlisted the efforts of Studio Good to create a widget that will allow donors to click and donate directly to charities that support the relief efforts in Haiti. The widget is currently accepting donations on the BET Help for Haiti donation page as well as several SOS Saving Ourselves - Help for Haiti performing artists' blogs and Facebook pages.

Reports from The Age state the death toll in the Haiti earthquake has topped 200,000. “There are more than 200,000 people who have been clearly identified as people who are dead,” Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive told AFP, adding another 300,000 injured had been treated, 250,000 homes had been destroyed and 30,000 businesses lost.

We ask that you do your part and make a difference by sharing the online giving campaign with your friends, family, and those you connect with via social media. Please do the following to ensure that we raise as much money for Haiti as we can:

1. Donate money to Saving OurSelves - Hope for Haiti and encourage others to do the same.

2. Please use #SOSHaiti in tweets starting NOW. This will help drive this hashtag to the top trending topic on Twitter and it will generate more awareness about the concert/fundraiser.
