Rheem Enhances Prestige Series With New 18-SEER Condensing Unit
06.22.2009 – As consumer interest in environmentally responsible home products continues to grow, Rheem is pleased to unveil the Rheem Prestige Series 18-SEER, R-410A two-stage premium condensing unit equipped with the Comfort Control² System™ (CC²S). With the addition of this product, the Prestige Series now offers a complete line of air conditioning from 13 to 18-SEER, giving Contractors a full menu of energy-efficient home comfort solutions to offer their homeowner customers.

The industry-leading Comfort Control² System is exclusive to Rheem, and standard on the 18-SEER Condensing unit. CC²S is a unique electronic control panel which offers Contractors on-board diagnostics and access to operating histories and fault codes on an exclusive 7-Segment LED Display that speeds accurate diagnosis and eliminates time-consuming job site trial-and-error diagnosis. Homeowners can access advanced features such as humidity control, service reminders and arm-chair programming when matching a new Rheem 18-SEER condenser with a Rheem CC²S-equipped air handler and an advanced Rheem Series 500 thermostat.
