Wilson’s new album AM/FM is a compilation of her take on her favorite songs from childhood – from the AM radio recordings she first experienced in the back seat of her parents’ car to the FM singer-songwriter jams she sung while at the wheel herself – and features guest artists Chris Cornell, Sheryl Crow, Jimmy Webb, Jackson Browne and Faith Hill, among others. For more information about the album, visit www.ritawilson.com.
Best known on the big screen for her acting roles in Sleepless in Seattle, It’s Complicated and Runaway Bride, among others, Wilson has made a name for herself on stage as well. At the Geffen Playhouse, she’s appeared in Donald Margulies’ Dinner With Friends, in Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron’s Love, Loss, and What I Wore and was honored with a Distinction in Theater Award in 2009 at the annual Backstage at the Geffen fundraiser for her leadership in the theater community. Wilson has also starred as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway and served as a producer on the films My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Mamma Mia!
