Road Service, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana to Power Train Service Co., an Indianapolis, Indiana based remanufacturer of power train products. The transaction closed October 1, 2010.
Trucker’s 24 Hr. Road Service provides services to the Indianapolis metro area. The Company is one of the largest truck service centers in Central Indiana. It is a full service truck, tractor and trailer repair center, offering 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year in-shop and radio-dispatched road service, encompassing a 40-mile radius from its facility. The Company is a licensed Napa Truck Service Center, providing customers nationwide warranty repair support. The Company garners a significant portion of its business through word-of-mouth referrals, repeat business, and its close proximity to Interstates 65, 69, 70, 74, and
465, which are popular trucking routes skirting Indianapolis, leading to Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburg, Nashville, St. Louis, Cedar Rapids, and many longer coast-to coast connecting routes.
Power Train Service Co. has nine locations that offer services such as installation, repair, and product fabrication and testing. Power Train custom builds hydraulic hoses and provides next day service on many drive train units. Power Train offers a comprehensive frame-up restoration program that can be adjusted to fit individual fleet specifications. From drive train restoration to a full frame-up including new cab, paint, and seat, Power Train provides services in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
