Northwest Florida Glass Shop Collects 740 Pounds of Food for Local Charity

Glass Doctor of Okaloosa Announces Season of Sharing Results

Customers and community members helped the Glass Doctor of Okaloosa collect 740 pounds of food items as part of the company’s “Season of Sharing” campaign. To encourage community involvement, the shop offered up to $10 off glass service with a food donation.

Glass services technicians with Glass Doctor of Okaloosa collected items from customers while on service calls. The shop was also a collection site for drop-off items from the community.

In addition to the food drive, in lieu of gifts for each other, the employees donated toys to Toys for Tots. They collected 28 toys.

“We appreciate all of the people behind the food drive donations for their generosity,” said Tom Ashley of Glass Doctor of Okaloosa. “This is a great way for us to give something back to the community during the holiday season.”
