ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Hardee’s® recently honored several franchisee owners/groups with awards for stellar performance in 2009. The award categories reflected positive sales and operation performance in calendar year 2009 and were presented at a special awards banquet held in St. Louis on June 29, 2010.
In addition to the specific categories for sales and operational excellence, the company honored Paradigm Investment Group, LLC with the prestigious Wilber Hardee Founders Award. The Founders Award is given to the franchise company that best exemplifies an entrepreneurial spirit, vision, dedication, leadership, teamwork and community involvement.
Award winners by category include:
– Franchisee of the Year – Diamond Management Group (21+ units); MRG Management (5-20 units); Oshkosh (2-4 units); Pete-Ham Food Services (single unit).
– Restaurant Sales - OTAC, Inc. (highest annual sales volume, Glen Burnie, Md.); Paradigm Investment Group, LLC (highest comparable sales percentage increase, Alexander, Ala.).
– Franchisee Sales (21+ units) – Boddie-Noell Enterprises (highest average unit volume); Ponder Enterprises (highest comparable sales percentage increase).
– Franchisee Sales (5-20 units) - Francieco, LP (highest average unit volume); Drain Enterprises (highest comparable sales percentage increase).
– Franchisee Sales (2-4 units) -Tall Corn Corporation (highest average unit volume); Dave Bowar (highest comparable sales percentage increase).
– Franchisee Sales (single unit) – Harco Foods (highest average unit volume); Express Lane (highest comparable sales percentage increase).
In addition to sales awards, honors were also given to several franchisees for Operational Excellence. To qualify, a franchise restaurant had to receive platinum Quality Assurance audits, a score of 90% or higher on operational assessments and must have received no more than one guest complaint per period.

– Boddie-Noell Enterprises (Springfield, Ky.; Durham, N.C; Fayetteville, N.C; Kannapolis, N.C; Emporia, Va.; Lawrenceville, Va.; Virginia Beach, Va.).
– Mountain Star, LLC (Wilkesboro, N.C.).
– Restaurant Management Group of West Virginia (Parkersburg, W.Va.).
– The Hastings Company (Jefferson, N.C).
