South Burlington, VT – Molly Dillon, Senior Trust and Community Banking Officer at Merchants Bank, announced that Angela S. Webster has joined the Merchants Trust Company as Personal Investment Manager in the Manchester office.

Webster joins Merchants following more than six years in the Wealth Management division at People’s United Bank, formerly Chittenden Bank, in Bennington. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Wealth Management Officer, working directly with clients to address trust, estate and financial planning needs.

“Angela’s experience in wealth management, as well as her previous work experience in marketing and public relations, make her a great fit for this position,” Dillon said. “She will be responsible for managing and overseeing the launch of new investment products, helping us better meet the needs of clients in Southern Vermont and throughout our branch network.”

Webster is a life-long Vermonter and the fifth generation in her family to live in Manchester. A graduate of the University of Vermont, she first worked in banking after college as a Lead Customer Service Representative at Factory Point National Bank in Manchester. Following that, she worked in marketing, promotions and account management for several years.  She joined Chittenden Bank as a Wealth Management Administrator in 2005, moving up to become Wealth Management Officer, Vice President.

Webster is completing studies towards her MBA at Norwich University. An avid reader and animal lover, she’s involved with several local organizations, serving on the Board of Directors of Second Chance Animal Center in Bennington County and the Finance Committee for the Bennington County Habitat for Humanity.
