ATLANTA, November 4, 2009 — Travel industry professionals have a new option for participating in one of the industry’s leading annual conferences – without booking a flight or renting a car to do it.
Thanks to its proven online video platform, Multicast (Multicast Media Technologies, Inc. - www.multicastmedia.com) is helping PhoCusWright successfully launch its new streaming content and revenue-generating initiative – PhoCusWright’s Online Ticket (http://www.phocuswright.com/the_phocuswright_conference_streaming). Users will have the ability to see and hear key sessions from PhoCusWright’s conference, both live and on demand afterwards.
Nearly 1,000 people are expected to use Multicast’s technology to access the conference online during the in-person sessions November 17-19, and then via archives for up to 60 days afterward. The video and audio platforms provided by Multicast will be accompanied by other tools, such as a Twitter feed to allow participants to submit questions and connect with each other.
