On Sunday May 2, 2010 MVP Health Care hosted a free lacrosse clinic conducted by lacrosse legend Gary Gait. This clinic is part of their MVP KidPower program which is dedicated to helping families get up, out, active...and live well!
The clinic was held at Afrims Sports Dome in Latham New York. Over 250 children between the ages of 4 and 16 came to learn lacrosse skills from Gary Gait, Syracuse University Women's Lacrosse Coach.
Gary Gait attended Syracuse University and when he graduated he Syracuse's all-time leadnig goal scorer with 192 goals. Gary began playing for the National Lacrosse Leage in 1991 and retired in 2005. He is in both the United States Lacrosse National Hall of Fame and the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame.
