MVP Health Care’s Medicare Advantage Plans Top Ranked Nationally By NCQA

MVP's Preferred Gold plan in the Greater Rochester Area is highest-ranked in New York State and ranked #9 nationally

ROCHESTER, NY, The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has announced that MVP Health Care’s Medicare Advantage health plans are top ranked nationally.* MVP’s Preferred Gold plan in the Greater Rochester Area, with more than 87,000 covered lives and a score of 87.7, is highest-ranked in New York State and ranked #9 nationally. Its Preferred Gold plan with more than 11,000 members in other areas and a score of 86.1 is ranked #23 nationally and #4 in New York State.*

MVP’s Medicare Advantage health plan was initially offered in the Greater Rochester area in 1985. It was expanded to other areas of New York beginning in 2006, and is being introduced in the Buffalo area this year.
