From the "greatest" to the most controversial love story ever told, York House Press set to publish "The Apple"
White Plains, NY--York House Press has finalized an agreement with Atlantic Overseas Pictures to publish a novel based on an updated movie script that tells the love story of Holocaust survivor, Herman Rosenblat, and the controversy surrounding his recently canceled memoir.
As a guest on Oprah and elsewhere, Herman Rosenblat told a tale of meeting his future wife during the Holocaust when she tossed apples to him over the fence of a Nazi concentration camp. His story captured the imagination of readers worldwide. Many still want to read his story, despite the recent controversy surrounding the fact that Mr. Rosenblat initially presented incidents in the story that were later disputed.

White Plains, NY. York House Press has entered into a tentative agreement with Atlantic Overseas Productions to publish a book based on the company's script for its $25 million movie production, The Flower of The Fence, which is set to begin production in 2009.
The motion picture is based on the life of Holocaust survivor, Herman Rosenblat, his ordeal in a Nazi concentration sub-camp of Buchenwald, and his celebrated love story with his fellow Holocaust survivor and wife of 50 years, Roma.
