Survey Says: New Yorkers Need a Refresher Course...on New York!

New Yorkers Don't Know Their City As Well As They Think

New Yorkers don't know their city as well as they think they do, according to results of the semi-annual "New York Pass or Fail Survey"--a poll of New Yorkers about New York--that will be released at a news conference on Wednesday, December 30th at 11 AM on the steps of the New York Public Library on 5th Avenue between 41st and 42nd Streets in Manhattan.

The survey stumped New Yorkers in all five boroughs on basic city questions, including:

What do the seven points of the crown on the Statue of Liberty represent? (Just 18% of New Yorkers knew!)

The New York Pass or Fail Survey was conducted by the Polling Company™, Inc. The margin of error is +/- 5.7%
