BROOMFIELD, Colo. (June 1, 2011) Noodles & Company is setting its sites on salads these days – Summertime Salads. Last month, the restaurant brand that offers made-to-order noodles, salads and sandwiches inspired by classic dishes from around the world, began serving two new Summertime Salads, Backyard Barbecue Chicken Salad and Very Berry Spinach Salad. Whether folks are already fans of the limited-time only Salads - or have been meaning to give them a try – Noodles is providing the opportunity to get a FREE salad while making one, special friend very happy.
Between July 7th and August 18th, Noodles is giving away up to 125,000 FREE Summertime Salads nationwide. Folks are simply asked to go to any neighborhood Noodles restaurant today, July 7th at 10:30 a.m.* The first 50 people will receive a Ten° Salad Tee. After writing their name on the first line of the Tee (1°), they can use the Tee to redeem a free Summertime Salad. Folks are then able to share the Tee with a friend so that the friend can try a Summertime Salad. That friend can in turn give the Tee to a deserving friend and so on and so on. Think of it like the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon...plus four.
The fun doesn’t stop once the Tee is passed on. Folks can track the life cycle of the Tee, share their pay-it-forward stories, see where each Tee has traveled, and check out who has worn it at www.Noodles.com/tendegrees. The website also gives people who were unable to wait in line at the restaurant an opportunity to request a shirt by sharing why they are “Tee Worthy.” Only the most compelling entries will be rewarded.
