Thousands and thousands of trees later, Oboz continues its commitment to its 'One More Tree' program and looks at this Earth Day and every day as a way to help the environment.
"Every day and every pair of shoes means another tree will be planted in a far corner of the world where trees are absolutely needed and treasured," said Oboz founder John Connelly.
Oboz's One More Tree program benefits Trees for the Future (www.treesftf.org), an international organization that improves livelihoods in developing countries through beneficial tree planting and sustainable land management projects. Since 1988, Trees for the Future has planted nearly 50 million trees and helped thousands of communities in Central America, Africa, and Asia.
On April 24-25 and in celebration of Earth Day, two Oboz retailers -- Schee's in Bozeman, Montana and Cumberland Transit in Nashville, Tennessee -- will give their customers tree seedlings to plant at their home or in their community.
