11.18.2008 – OmniMount offers special thanks to Tim Shiner of PAR Products and WAVE Electronics for their generous support of Team OmniMount Goes Pink and “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer”
Phoenix, AZ - November 18, 2008 - OmniMount, the leading manufacturer of consumer and commercial A/V mounting and furniture solutions, proudly concluded the company’s month-long “OmniMount Goes Pink” initiative. Team OmniMount welcomed more than 50 team members, including three breast cancer survivors, to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Tempe, AZ and donated a total of $13,546 to the charity.
“We all have the power to make a difference. That’s why OmniMount put a team together to join in the fight against breast cancer,” stated Annette Carrier, OmniMount’s director of brand marketing. “OmniMount’s corporate and employee response supporting this charitable cause was truly moving - and it’s made us all extremely proud to be a part of this organization and this fundraising effort.”
On Saturday, November 8th, OmniMount’s team of participating employees, friends and family gathered at Tempe Town Lake to join forces with thousands of others to support the “Going Pink” cause. Team OmniMount Goes Pink was the third top fundraising team of the event thanks to the generous support offered by the company’s partners, as well as the fundraising efforts of the team’s walkers.
OmniMount extends special thanks to Tim Shiner, owner of PAR Products a Texas based independent marketing firm that specializes in the A/V and security industries, for his contribution through the purchase of the company’s limited edition, pink Karim Collection Prism 50 home theater furniture from the company’s eBay auction; all $7200 of the proceeds was added to the overall donation.
OmniMount also received special support from WAVE Electronics, a Houston, TX based wholesale supplier of high-end consumer electronics equipment and accessories, which pledged $1 per sku of all OmniMount products sold between October 15 and November 6, 2008 for a total donation of $1000.
