Overall, The Peard Real Estate Group set a new record in sales turnover for the 2008/2009 financial year with total property sales of almost $1 billion.
At the awards evening, Peard Managing Director Stuart Cox, thanked the staff for an outstanding result for the 2008/2009 financial year.
Mr Cox said that The Peard Real Estate Group sold 1,704 properties during 2008/2009 with an average list to sales ratio of almost 80%
“The average sale price of a property sold by Peard last financial year was $509,375 which was much higher than the overall median price of a home in Perth,” he said.
At the Awards evening, a number of staff were recognised for their individual achievements during the last financial year.
These included Jarrod O’Neil from Hillarys office who took out the two main sales awards - Highest Sales Achiever (Sales) and Highest Sales Achiever (Listings).
Tracy Laurence from Mindarie office won the Highest Listing Achiever Award while Berny Wales from Joondalup office took out the coveted Directors Award.
In addition, Peard & Associates at Hillarys won all three main Top Office awards
On a lighter note, staff attending the Awards function enjoyed a ‘mock auction’, with staff bidding from various items using a special currency - ‘Peard Pounds’.
