Over 150 staff members of The Peard Real Estate Group attended their end of financial year (EOFY) awards last Friday, 27 August 2010, at the Acqua Viva function centre on the Swan River to celebrate the most successful year in the history of the company.
This is the fourth such annual awards event held by the Peard Real Estate Group and it has now become the major focal point for the staff who celebrated property sales of over $1.2 billion last financial year – a record for the Group. The event was attended by representatives from all nine branch offices, its corporate head office as well as the Group’s finance and settlement companies – Evolution Home Loans and Evolution Settlements.
Major Sponsors of the awards included RealEstateWA, (sponsors of the April – June 2010 quarter awards) as well as Aperture 22 Photography, REIWA, Printforce, Gough Recruitment and The Sunday Times.
Winners of the quarterly awards included Alex Sebregts (Peard Wright, Rockingham) Highest Listing Achiever and Jarrod O’Neil (Peard & Associates, Hillarys) Highest Sales Achiever by number of sales and income generated.
Jarrod O'Neil also was a winner of EOFY award for Highest Sales Achiever for income generated. Other EOFY winners included – Alex Sebregts (Peard Wright, Rockingham), Highest Listing Achiever; and Steve Wilcox (Peard Cox, Mindarie), Highest Sales Achiever by number of sales.
The strong performance of the Group’s offices was also recognised with Peard & Associates Hillarys awarded the Top Office awards for both ‘Number of Settled Sales’ and ‘Settled Commission’ categories, while Peard West Coast Cottesloe were awarded ‘Top Office by Average Commission per Rep.’
The efforts of the Group’s Property Managers, who collectively manage more than 1,700 properties, were also recognised with Stacey Matheson from Peard West Coast, winning the Property Management Award.
In addition, there were a number of employees inducted into the Peard Club which acknowledges both sales income generated and years of service to the company. These employees included Brodie Fleay – Marketing Manager, Sharon Botha – Licensee Peard Cox and Stuart Cox – Managing Director into the silver category for years of service to the company and Todd Utley, Paul Sharry and Kathy Hamilton into the gold category for income generated.
