07.06.2009 – Houston Interactive Marketing Association is ramping up for Interactive Strategies, it's annual interactive marketing conference held in downtown Houston's Angelika Film Center. Set to take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, Interactive Strategies will be a full-day of over 32 amazing speakers, networking, and entertainment. Attendees who vary from agency executives to internal brand marketers will walk away with in-depth knowledge of interactive, ranging from social media, SEO, strategy, and creative/user experience.
Conference organizers have created a contest that ends Wednesday, July 8th. Fans (new and old) of the conference's Facebook page can get a chance to win a free ticket to the conference, as long as they are signed up by the deadline. The winner(s) will be announced on Thursday. Also, the conference extended its early bird registration until Tuesday, July 7th.
"We're expecting about 300 people to attend this year," says Chris Pitre, conference chair. "The quality and quantity of speakers we have this year is astounding. We've been getting Tweets, emails, and Facebook messages from people around the country who wish they could attend and/or speak, which suggests that Houston is in for a treat," continues Pitre. The conference is organized, branded, and marketed by a committee of eight talented people who work at various interactive and professional service companies in and around Houston.
