CHAMPION SHOOTER MAX MICHEL WINS OPEN MATCH TITLE AT USPSA AREA 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS
04.26.2010 – Essex Junction, VT, USA – Revision Eyewear, leading developer of ballistic protective eyewear for military and law enforcement forces worldwide, proudly announces that champion shooter, Max Michel, won the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Area 6 Championship held April 16-18, 2010 in Covington, GA. Michel was the 100% match winner in the Open Class, edging out former Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) teammate K.C. Eusebio for first place with a final match score of 1191.4037. Michel has participated in the Area 6 Championships for the past nine years and has won the title eight times. This is his seventh consecutive Area 6 Championship win.
"This year at the Area 6 we had over 400 competitors registered, making for twelve hours of stiff competition,” commented Michel. “I competed from 8am to 8pm and faced all types of lighting conditions. The USPSA Area Championships are the most competitive practical shooting events in the world. Max Michel’s next competition is the USPSA Area 4 Championships held in Princeton, LA, May 20-23, 2010.

Max Michel first gained prominence in the competitive shooting arena with five USPSA® National Championships beginning in 2004 and three World Speed Shooting Championships in 2005, 2007 and 2009. Max has completed nearly 30 USPSA Area Championships and, as a representative of the United States, Max has competed in the last three International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) World Shoots, returning home with team gold medals.
