07.29.2010 – LONDON -- Social media management company Tempero has teamed with technology company iPlatform to launch Conversocial, the first tool to allow full management and tracking of Facebook page activity.
Conversocial was developed by iPlatform, the first official Facebook Preferred Developer Consultants in the UK, to give greater usability for brands managing Facebook pages.
For the first time photos, videos, comments, and wall posts can be centralised into one queue turbo-charging the administration of large or growing Facebook pages. Advanced features like filtering and alerts help flag problem content and enhanced tracking and reporting is more in-depth than Facebook’s own ‘Insights Tool.’
The Conversocial tool will be used by Tempero as part of new ‘Facebook Page Management’ packages being offered to current and existing clients. The packages were created for companies wanting online brand protection in the generally un-moderated Facebook environment.
“Conversocial allows Tempero to combine our skilled moderation team with advanced tools to provide round the clock protection of our client’s Facebook pages as efficiently as possible to maximise the ROI.” says Dom Sparkes, MD, Tempero.
Link between page management and engagement
Over the past month iPlatform has used Conversocial to research the biggest and fastest growing fan pages on Facebook, analysing what types of posts and activity create the most community engagement.
Conversocial developer and iPlatform founder Joshua March advised “It’s clear that brands who actively manage their Facebook page, ensuring conversation quality remains high and content is relevant, have far higher engagement with their page content than other brands. This in turn leads to faster growth and bigger take up of promotions.”
On the flip side, iPlatform found that companies who neglect their fans, or who ignore their comments, tend to suffer from increased negative sentiment and lower growth and engagement. These differences explain how some fan pages are regularly achieving over 20 times the engagement of other large pages, relative to their member numbers.
