Exciting things are happening at First Bank of Wyoming in May. Existing customers were mailed a letter and information packet from bank President Ty Nelson in April outlining the details of the system upgrades taking place during the weekend of May 7, 2016.
The enhanced banking platform and the introduction of chip-enabled debit cards will allow First Bank of Wyoming to provide their customers with the latest in debit card security as well as updated online and mobile banking technology while continuing to provide outstanding service. Here are a few things customers should know about the upcoming system upgrades:
- Your new card cannot be activated until May 9th; this is also the date in which your current cards will no longer process payments.
- If you use your Visa Debit Card for recurring payments such as phone bills or utilities, you will need to provide them with your new card information.
- You can activate your new card by calling the toll-free number provided with the card mailer.
- Once activated, you can set up your PIN with your first PIN based transaction at a merchant or ATM. You can use your current PIN or enter a new one.
