Sandler Seating Captures 3 Top Design Awards At BDNY 2015

New York, NY [November 12, 2015] – Sandler Seating, a high-quality furniture company specializing in European designs, captured three top design awards at Boutique Design New York (BDNY) 2015 including two product design awards and the coveted Best in Show. Held annually, the Best of BDNY: Product Design Competition is a juried program that recognizes designers and manufacturers of products that demonstrate functional and aesthetic progress, and above all innovation in each respective category.

Nomado, an innovative highly portable desking system, was the winner in the Furniture: Casegoods and Occasional category. Quo, a lightweight and sturdy stacking chair designed by Martin Ballendat, won the Seating: Dining, Upholstered, Task, Banquet category. In addition, Cocoon, the company’s futuristic-shaped acoustic seating pod designed by Danish Architect Carsten Buhl, was a finalist in the same seating category. Sandler Seating captured the Best In Show award among the nearly 550 BDNY exhibitors.
